Arrival
Check-in in your apartment at the GLS campus: there is no activity planned for the arrival day, but you´ll find lots of bars and cafes nearby, and also some shops like famous KaDeWe will be open between 1 and 8 pm
Monday 19th December 2011
Breakfast at the German language school cafeteria, your level placement test, then 4 lessons German from 9 - 12.30 pm
A free afternoon, then in the evening the school invites you to a classic German Christmas dinner at the school restaurant "Die Schule"

A school guide shows you Berlin´s biggest Weihnachtsmarkt, selling sweets, toys and Glühwein

A school guide shows you Potsdamer Platz and we visit an exhibition in "Gemäldegalerie" at the Berlin Kulturforum

The school takes you on a tour to Kreuzberg and you all have dinner at a famous restaurant known for its German delicacies (dinner @ your own expense)

December 24 is the most important holiday in Germany. Shops are open till 2 pm. The school suggest you visit a free organ concert at the Berlin Dom or to go dancing at Kulturbrauerei next door (no school guide)
or Go ice-skating with the school, in the very center of Berlin - right next to the Opera

The school invites all Christmas special students to a classical New Years brunch with Lachs and Sekt (11 am - 4 pm) at the school restaurant. At night there are lots of partys in Berlin for "Silvester" = New Year´s Eve, the biggest party is the one at Brandenburg Gate.
