A long term French language course in Tours ideal for Uni, post Uni or adult students looking to study French in depth over three months for maximum impact and progress. Students attend this programme in order to prepare for the DELF and DALF (C1) French language exams.

A short term French language course aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with an immersion course in France. The small group classes ensure plenty of teacher attention for every student, see French course methodology for further information. No one week courses are offered and beginners/elementary level students are only able to join the programme on four start dates each year.

French Private Tuition Course

An extremely intensive French language course, ideal for those who wish to make maximum French language progress during the studies in Tours, over a one or two week period (longer course duration offered by arrangement). Aimed at anyone looking for a highly flexible and personal French course, generally business people or those who need to work on their French for academic or professional reasons, for whom time is of the essence.
French Wine Appreciation Course
One week course duration
5 lesson per week wine appreciation course
Once a month, June to October each year
Students always enjoy this opportunity to learn about French wine in Tours, wine-making and have fun learning the correct way to taste red and white wines with a wine specialist. This course is highly recommended by past students. The 2 ½ hr session includes an introduction to the vocabulary, history and regions associated with the wine industry. It covers the fundamentals of wine tasting and a visit to the school's own medieval wine cellar. This is followed by two visits by a wine specialist, the first visit concentrates on presenting the white wines of France and students taste 5 or 6 wines. He then explains the various ways the white wines are made and how to differentiate the tastes of the different grapes. The second visit follows the same format, in connection with the red wines of France.
