The course content is the same as for the Standard Course, but the longer duration of the programme ensures more material is covered and better retention of the language skills learnt. You can book a Portuguese language course from one to ten weeks duration (or longer on a Languages for Life course). All four key language skills are covered and students receive a thorough grounding in grammar etc according to your Portuguese language level. These programmes are aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their Portuguese language learning from scratch with an immersion course in Portugal.
Standard Plus Portuguese Course

A more intensive Portuguese programme (with additional oral classes). This more demanding Portuguese language course is aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their Portuguese language learning from scratch with an immersion course in Lisbon, Portugal. The additional 5 lessons are made up of workshops that concentrate on different topics each day: listening comprehension, conversation skills, grammar drills, vocab work and presentations etc

Portuguese Christmas Course

A set programme offered once a year, with generally just a few students attending (approx 3/5 students). Great value courses ~ offered at two levels a/ beginner/elementary and b/intermediate levels. NB: Conversation focus, no grammar work as per the Standard Course. Learn Portugugese in Lisbon with other students during the Christmas holidays on a language course which focuses on giving you intensive practise in oral communication skills.
Portuguese & Surf Course
2 or 4 weeks Portuguese language course duration

+ Surf training over the fortnight/4 wks

As per the Standard Course plus in addition 5 or 10 surf lessons over 2 weeks (each surf session = approx 2.5hrs). These PM sessions of surfing are organised with a local professional Surf school in Lisbon, Monday to Friday each week. Students are driven to and from the beach each day. Surf kit is included. Exact timetable depends on tides and sea conditions and will be determined with the Surf club once in Lisbon.
Portuguese Teacher Training Course

A short term Portuguese language course in Lisbon offered four times a year. Ideal for those teachers (or trainee teachers) who wish to extend and update their knowledge of Portuguese language training. You really do need to have C1 level Portuguese to attend this programme.
