Activities can include: Orientation tour of the city; Guided Tour of "Museo del Duomo" and the "Santa Maria Novella" Church, Traditional Italian dinner in a typical "Trattoria", Tour of Artisan Workshops (Ceramics, Etching, Florentine paper, Shoemaker, etc.), Half-day excursion to the vineyards of the "Chianti" area, visit to a winery including "merenda" (typical Tuscan afternoon snack).

Italian & Art History: Combines 15 language lessons per week with 3 lectures on Renaissance Art and History and 3 guided visits viewing Renaissance monuments and museums (April & November).

Italian & Cookery: Combines 15 language lessons per week with 2 lectures on Tuscan Cooking or Wines and 2 visits to a famous food market and wine or oil cellar and a full day excursion to the Chianti region and a farewell dinner in a typical Florentine Trattoria(May and October).

It's a mixture of language, art, culture and the pleasure of spending time together to share and improve one's knowledge of those aspects of Rome that make this city so unforgettable.
Apart from 40 lessons of language in the morning in classes of mixed ages at the appropriate level, the programme has an active social programme.

Activities can include:

Trip by private coach to Villa Adriana (Tivoli)
Trip by private coach to the Castelli Romani area including visit of a wine cellar, wine-tasting and dinner on Castelgandolfo Lake

The programme is designed for people who want to learn Italian (mixed age classes) and experience the local culture with other students of a similar age (50+) and interests.

Activity programme can include :

2 afternoons of school activities, such as Italian film and class cultural lessons
1 visit to Lemoncello Factory followed by tasting
1 make your own Gelato and enjoy

Optional Excursions:
